My career providing support for the legal services sector began with a large American corporate. whilst there I saw that the way law firms would have to respond to and support their clients was going to have to change. There was a much greater need for efficiency and responsiveness, which large corporate companies would find difficult to respond to in a timely manner. Corporates have many advantages but making swift decisions and moving quickly to meet new requirements were definitely not part of their DNA.
